Not only is our little guy turning two in March (ah tear, where did time go? insert crying emoji) but all his little friends are as well, which means we have lots of two year old birthday parties coming up. So I have been doing lots of research and shopping to find the best gifts for two-year-old boys. (PS: I rounded up birthday party ideas here and birthday gifts for one year olds here and ideas for what to wear to a kid’s birthday party here). Luckily, I’ve already had one two-year-old boy to test it all out for me, so I have a pretty good handle on the best gifts for two-year-old boys.
Two is a crazy age for boys in my experience. They are wild, full of energy and seemingly dead set on hurting themselves in one way or another. As a parent, it’s absolutely exhausting. So when gifting for a two year old boy, I try to find presents that will keep the occupied and/or help expend some of that energy. Toys that let them get physical, whether a ride on car, a tball set, or a play mop and broom, are great options. I also love cars and dinosaurs and busy boards. For more ideas, here is my roundup of the best gifts for a two-year-old boy.
