So it’s officially our first snow of the season in New York and I couldn’t be more excited. I love snowy, cozy winter weekends (except when you have to go places but still, there’s something so magical about snow around the holidays). Now that James is walking, he’s going to need some shoes for trudging through the rain and snow, especially for our trip to Park City later this month, where I’m hoping there will be lots of fresh powder to ski. Last year, he was only a few months old, so we had some cozy shearling booties and soft duck boots that I put on him mostly just because they were cute but this year, the boots actually have to serve a purpose. He’s still not really great at walking in shoes so I want to find boots that aren’t really hard to walk in, which isn’t easy. I mean, I have trouble walking in my snow boots, ya know? But I think I’ve narrowed it down to the most comfortable, most likely to stay on his feet, and easiest to walk in, and (almost as important), the cutest. Do you have any not on this list you love for your walking baby or toddler? Tell me! I’m still debating if I want to just ship a pair to Park City to have when we get there so there’s one less thing to pack.
