I hate the term “going out” top, and I’m not the only one who feels this way. It just feels so cheesy, early 20s, clubbing/frat partying. But that doesn’t eliminate the need for a dressier top for a night out, which is why I’m loving lace-up shirts. They’re flirty enough for going out and yet not too club-y for work. Pair them with skinny jeans or black skinnies, or a midi skirt and boots for a more office-appropriate look.
