Suede is no longer just for fall and winter. In fact, suede is taking over for spring now too. While we’ve seen suede jackets and skirts trending for some time now, the latest incarnation fits nicely with the cold, rainy spring we’ve been having here on the East Coast. I’m talking about suede pants, and they’re a fresh alternative to your leather skinnies that feel more spring-y but will keep you warm if it’s still feeling a lot more like February/March than May in your neck of the woods. Worn with sandals for warmer days or colder knits and booties for colder days, the look is elegant and chic but with slightly less edge than your go-to leather skinnies. Skinnier styles are totally chic and a little more sophisticated with spring’s breezy tops and knits, but a pair of suede culottes paired with sandals lends them a sophisticated boho-chic vibe.
