I love dressing James and Brooks for the holidays, and while I”m excited to now have a little girl to dress, I am still having so much fun dressing the boys. But the fact is, boy clothes can be tricky to find. There tend to be the same clothing options for little boys everywhere (like it’s all one note if that makes sense), and there’s just not as big of a selection. And of course, when it comes to holiday clothes, brands know you’ll pay extra to have your kids look cute in the holiday pics so a lot of festive options are pricey so you want to love them, ya know? Also, the holidays are now one of the only times I can force my kids to wear whatever I want under the guise that Santa won’t bring them what they want if they don’t (kidding but maybe not totally) and it tends to be the only time we take family photos, so I am always on the hunt for cute holiday outfits for toddler boys.
Since we have two boys, I also see these holiday outfits for toddler boys as investments. James will wear and then Brooks can wear again one day, so I’m willing to invest in quality pieces. With that said, I love finding holiday outfits for toddler boys on sale because let’s be serious, they will get them dirty. I will often buy their holiday outfits during the off season when everything holiday goes on crazy sale and you can get an heirloom-worthy jon-jon or bubble or plaid pants and a Christmas sweater for a fraction of the price. I just size up for the next season and generally, it’s worked pretty well for us. Still, I always find myself shopping for cute holiday outfits for toddler boys around the holidays because that’s part of the fun of having kids during the holidays, right? If you’re shopping for your little one, I’ve rounded up my favorite holiday outfits for toddler boys, and included my favorite secret shopping spot for great deals on precious smocked outfits. I’ll do holiday outfits for little girls next. In the meantime, here’s where I love to buy the kids’ nice shoes.
