‘Tis the season to stuff your face off. I love Thanksgiving — it’s the kickoff to the holiday season and the perfect excuse to eat endless amounts of pie, what’s not to love? Usually, I love dressing up for the holidays, but I find picking out a Thanksgiving outfit to be more stressful than deciding if the turkey has been cooking long enough.
Anyone else find it hard to figure out what to wear to Thanksgiving dinner? You want to look festive and especially this year, it’s a great excuse to get dressed up a bit. But you also don’t want to wear anything too constricting that will hinder your turkey consumption, or apres dinner football watching. That’s why I really look for Thanksgiving outfit ideas that are roomy but will still look put-together — a tent dress, a peplum sweater with pants that give a bit, stretchy jeans with a roomy top.
While our Thanksgiving celebration will look different this year, with just our close family who we’ve quarantined with, I am still excited for the excuse to dress up a bit and celebrate. Regardless of how you’re celebrating this year, here are some comfy and cute Thanksgiving outfit ideas.
