When I saw this Ganni floral dress, I had to have it. Like added to cart and clicked buy right that second had to have it. I am not usually a huge fan of wrap dress styles (I always feel like they end up requiring lots of adjusting and make my hips look weird), but this floral wrap dress’ pretty pattern, balloon sleeves and ruffle trim spoke to me. Honestly, it’s just one of the prettiest dresses I’ve seen. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a sale shopper, but I clicked buy on this dress right away — at full price, baby. And I’m glad I did, it’s selling out fast. (Luckily, there’s also a skirt and top version that’s super cute, and the separates give you more outfit options.)
I plan to wear this floral wrap dress to an afternoon wedding ceremony we have coming up, as well as to work, every baby and wedding shower I have this summer, and basically every chance I get. I recently paired it with these flat sandals for a family party but a pair of heeled slides or silver sandals would dress it up for a wedding or other dressy occasion. For work, I would try it with white or silver block heeled sandals, and it can take you straight to drinks or date night. I also love how it looks with a pair of crisp white sneakers for a more casual look. This floral wrap dress will also work nicely next spring with a turtleneck underneath, or for chilly summer nights, you can throw a denim jacket on top. Can you tell I’m justifying my purchase? By dress standards, especially these days, it’s a really good price point too. I didn’t have to think twice about buying it right away and having buyer’s guilt, which I love. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself, ya know? And it’s so worth it when it’s a dress that you know you’ll get lots of wear out of and just makes you feel really cute.
