I’m actually a few weeks behind, but I’m trying to get back on track with these posts (and get my insta husband to stop slacking). I think I can say I officially milked summer for everything it had, wardrobe-wise at least, and it is time to break out the sweaters. After trying to extend summer with some freezing trips to the pool and getting goose bumps in my sundresses, I think I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that fall is here.
Transitional dressing is always tricky, especially when it’s cool in the mornings and then warmer in the afternoons, and you’re trying to wear one outfit for the day. I find the easiest way to dress for the days where the temps are fluctuating is to throw sweaters over summer dresses for drop off (yes! James went back to school … more on that soon) that I can then easily toss in my bag by the time it warms up again for pick up.
Here’s what I wore this week.
