I don’t know what it is, but lately I’ve been allergic to heels. I’m just all about comfort at the moment, and I can’t with stilettos. But as someone who isn’t quite as tall as I’d like to be, I always feel like a shrimp cabob on days I wear flats, and slightly under-dressed for work, tbh. Which is why I’m all about wedges and platforms these days. I love the look of a great stiletto and I will probably return to sacrificing total comfort for their lengthening and chic-ifying properties, but in the lazy phase I’m currently in, platforms have offered a nice compromise. These Sam Edelman platforms are super simple and chic. They nod to ‘90s minimalism without being overly chunky or statement-y. And my favorite part is the price tag. It’s so reasonable, and considering how much I tear apart my sandals, especially ones that are comfy and cute, these will def more than pay for themselves in cost per wear.
