There’s truly nothing I love more than a summer holiday. The weather is warm, you’re already in party/vacation mode (thank you summer Fridays!), you usually get some extra days off of work (but the kids camps still run), and it’s always an excuse for tons of family-friendly outdoor activities and celebrations. The Fourth of July is one of the biggest summer holidays, and probably one of my favorites. I love the parades, bbqs, parties, and all the activities and events for the kids. Whether we stay in town or use the long weekend as an excuse to take a vacation, we tend to get really into the Fourth, right down to our attire. I always whip out the red white and blue 4th of July outfits, and invest in patriotic toddler and baby Fourth of July outfits for the kids. I even try to force Andrew to get in on the color scheme (with varying degrees of success).
I am anticipating that this year’s July 4th celebrations will be in overdrive. It already feels like it’s going to be a jam-packed week (yes, week!) of events, and as you can tell, I’m so here for it. I am ready to party and play and do all the fun things with the kids, from fireworks to pool games to parades and parties.
I almost feel like red, white and blue attire is a requirement to attend any July 4th festivity, and well, I love any excuse to dress the kids up in cute coordinating clothes. So although summer has only just begun, I am, of course, already shopping for the Fourth of July. I’ve found so many cute toddler and baby Fourth of July outfits, that I thought I’d share them with you in case you’re already prepping too. (And if you need some festive July 4th attire for yourself, check out red, white and blue outfits for adults here.)
