I usually say the holiday season starts with Thanksgiving, but I think we can all agree that this year, it started with Halloween. The Christmas decorations have been out since July, and gift guides are hitting us everywhere we turn and reminding us if we don’t shop now, our gifts may never arrive in time for the holidays. The holiday festivities are in full force, and just in time for the hectic holiday season, I’m returning to the office in person on a regular schedule. It’s funny because I usually dread getting dressed once winter arrives (hence, why I rely on a winter capsule wardrobe), so the fact that I have so many things to get dressed up for this year, feels like a cruel joke. However, I have to say that this week was a beautiful reprieve from the cold in New York with temps in the ’60s, and I took full advantage when getting dressed, so I have what may be my final batch of fall outfits for my round up of what I wore the second week of November 2021.
This week, I had work lunches and a trip into the city to go to the office, a doctor’s appointment, a fun night out, and so many errands and Zoom calls and work projects to wrap up. It was crazy. You’ll see a mix of cozy drop off lewks and fall work outfits and some holiday dressing previews taking me into what I am sad to say will probably be the last week of fall weather. And now it’s the weekend! I’m heading to a super fun birthday party in the city tonight with a bunch of girl friends, and then we’re headed to the lake for a weekend away, which I’m really looking forward to. Here’s what I wore the second week of November 2021.
