Can you believe Christmas is just a couple weeks away? The holidays are filled with so much anticipation and fun and bustle, that I actually don’t like when they fly by, which, of course, they always do. I like to savor them as much as possible. It’s just such a special time of year, filled with love and hope and celebration. And, of course, you know the end of year is close, so you know you’ll get a fresh start at the end of it all. I love the holidays all the more now that I have kids, and as excited as I am to head to Park City for Christmas and to see their cute faces on Christmas morning, I wouldn’t mind if time slowed down a bit. I still have much to do and there’s so much going on, I’m not sure how I’ll get it all done. Although I am going to give myself credit for starting early this year and getting so much done. Being back in the office a few days a week for work definitely makes it harder to get it all done and adds to the holiday stress, but I love seeing all the holiday decor and getting dressed for the office again. You’ll see a few holiday outfits and work looks in my roundup of what I wore the second week of December 2021, so hopefully, if you’re looking for outfit inspo, they’ll help.
I did keep it a bit more casual this week though and relied on statement coats to dress up my looks. It’s been cold and dark out, and honestly, it’s been hard to motivate to dress. I find that just throwing on a cute sweater and coat can go a long way if you can’t do anything more than put on jeans and leggings. Once the holidays are over, this will definitely be my uniform until it gets warm again, and I’m not mad about it. Now, we’re off to do some more holiday celebrating — museums, parties, a Santa brunch and more holiday fun with the kids. Here’s what I wore the second week of December 2021.
