Blair Waldorf I am not. Girly, prim style is just not my thing… or is it? I find since having James my style has completely changed and my neutral-dominated wardrobe has given way to dresses, more feminine styles, and even a touch of prim here and there. While you’ll never catch me in a headband, I found myself falling for this Ganni pinstripe dress that while neutral, has a schoolgirl vibe that previously would not have been me. Maybe the navy pinstripes kept it from feeling too much for me, or it might have been the swingy fit that gets it just right — not too roomy and falls so no one suspects you might be pregs or that you’re fatter than you are, but gives you enough space to hide the fact that you haven’t seen the inside of a gym since having a baby. Dakota seemed to like the look as well, which is always a bonus.
I feel like whether you work in a more corporate environment or a more fashion, casual setting, this Ganni pinstripe dress is perfect. It can be dressed up or down with a change of footwear. It’s polished but has an edge. I love how it’s not too tight or too short or too sexy but it also doesn’t feel dowdy. I am a huge fan of Ganni these days. I just feel like all their dresses are so unique and cool and flattering. They really get how to do women’s silhouettes. I think it’s the European designers. They just always look chic and offer the coolest clothes. I mean Danish street style is so good, so I’m not surprised I love Danish designers like Ganni. And they’ve reeally nailed it with this Ganni pinstripe dress. I just lovve it so much.
