If you haven’t been following along on my Instagram, we just got back from five glorious days in the Bahamas with my husband’s family. We had considered going to the Bahamas for a babymoon/anniversary trip last March and then life…
What I Wore on Our Trip to Florida
We went to Florida for a long weekend to see family and unsuccessfully escape the polar vortex. Sadly, we arrived just in time for rain and it only cleared up as we left. So I packed a bunch of stuff I didn’t need, because it turned out to be cold and rainy, and my dreams of shooting great beach getaway content for you were squashed. However, the sun did come out for long enough that I was able to wear some of my favorite new beach dresses and snap a few pics. Even though it wasn’t the most photo-worthy trip, we had fun spending time with James and it was kind of nice not having to worry about looking cute for pics or dressing cute (it was basically just bundle up with whatever warm clothes we brought for the first two days). Still, I got to squeeze in some cute looks that I definitely recommend if you’re heading somewhere warm sometime soon.
Help! We’re Taking Our First Vacation Without James and We Can’t Decide What Type of Trip to Take
This March, Andrew and I will celebrate our five year wedding anniversary. I’m kind of in shock that we’ve been married for five years. It feels like we just got married. Five years kind of crept up on us, and…
What I Learned From Going on Vacation with our Toddler
Like many of you, when mid-January hit, we were ready for a vacation somewhere warm. Last year, after much debate, we decided to bring our then baby along on our vacation. I wrote a post about what I learned from our experience. Well, we just got back from another January trip to Florida, and I thought I’d share my vacation with toddler tips after surviving a beach vacation with our crazy two year old. While I felt more prepared and less panicked about traveling with James now that we’ve flown and vacationed with him a bunch, we still made some mistakes this time (and had some wins) and learned a lot.
What I Wore On Our Ski Vacation 2019
This year, we returned to Park City for the Christmas holiday. While I wasn’t as good about documenting my outfits as I had hoped (sorry, I was too busy running after a two year old, enjoying the snow, and mostly, stuffing my face), I did manage to capture a few of my go-to looks.
So for a twist on my usual week in outfit posts, here’s what I wore on our last ski vacation.
We Took A Surprise Vacation And It Was The Best Thing We’ve Done
So anyone who knows me, knows I’m a control freak. I also overanalyze everything. These two traits make it really hard to plan a vacation. I spend weeks agonizing and debating where we should go, days analyzing the flights and…
What I Learned From Going on Vacation With Our Baby
Our most recent trip last week really made it clear how important it is to get away as a family sometimes. We were nervous that taking a vacation with a baby wouldn’t be relaxing at all, but by picking a really…
Our Hamptons Vacation Diary
Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA, but we just got back from a week in the Hamptons and I really took advantage of the chance to savor time with our little family and catch up with friends. I’m not gonna…
I Will Be Wearing This Sundress on Repeat All Summer Long
Honestly, I just wanted to share this floral Tory Burch sundress with you because I’m in love. I don’t have much more to say other than this dress and print makes me so happy for spring. I got it for…
What I Wore On Vacation This Week (No. 12)
We just got back from five glorious days in Florida and I am still riding high. We had such an amazing vacation and taking some time off and focusing on our family was simply the best! It’s funny. We always…
What to Wear On a Yacht, Courtesy of Olivia Palermo
Olivia Palermo has been living the good life this summer, vacationing with her gorgeous husband aboard Valentino’s yacht (which appears to be an annual affair at this point) in between hitting up the world’s most gorgeous beaches and exploring summer’s top vaca spots. #Jealous. Now you get to be a little jealous of me too, as Andy’s best friend has invited us on his family’s yacht to spend the last week of summer living the good life, and while dressing for such a ~fancy~ vaca is a bit (seriously) intimidating, no doubt, I fully plan on channeling the flawless style of the woman who knows how to live the good life best, Ms. Olivia FLAWLESS Palermo. Because if you’re gonna live the good life, you gotta dress the part.
