Well, we’re back from France and almost adjusted to the time here and just accepting will never get back the sleep we missed. I’m somewhat back into the swing of things, but not really because James started a new camp, work is crazy, and and I’m feeling so overwhelmed that I’m basically just organizing every nook and cranny of our house and lives and trying to get every random project done other than the day to day stuff I really need to finish. It’s how I deal when I’m overwhelmed, but it doesn’t help with the overwhelm although I do believe organizing can help give you a better feeling of control thereby reducing anxiety and a clean space to work from which can help immensely. But I like to force myself to start checking things off my to-do list starting with the things I want to do least so that my list doesn’t build and I can feel a sense of accomplishment, so that’s what this week has been all about. My outfits have been a mishmosh of work outfits, work from home outfits that are nice enough to wear for Zooms and coffees and appointments but still work for running to camp pickups and ice cream dates, as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the second week of July 2023.
Now we’re off for a relaxing weekend without too too much on the agenda, which I’m thrilled about. I honestly just want to hang out at the pool and beach with the kids, order pizzas, and go to bed early. Here’s what I wore the second week of July 2023.
