I’m officially in the final countdown to Baby #2, and I am feeling it guys like majorily. Getting dressed is increasingly difficult, not to mention, I barely have the energy anymore. It doesn’t help that it’s been like a thousand degrees lately and being nine months pregnant in the heat is unpleasant to say the least. Unfortunately, I can’t just hide under a tent or live in sweats all day. I’ve had a full slate at work, with lots of meetings and presentations and events that I actually have to look good for and show up for before I go out on maternity leave. I don’t know about you but I feel more pressure to show up at everything and look like a total boss before maternity leave to help prove my worth or remind people I’m still around. Idk It’s hard to be an expectant mom in the corporate world, full stop. When it comes to getting dressed, I’ve been trying to do the best I can, relying a lot these last few weeks on maternity dresses from my favorite brand, Hatch. In fact, there are a couple hatch pieces in my roundup of what I wore the first week of August 2019. This week is basically all the maternity outfits that have been getting me through the final weeks of my pregnancy, which is really just breezy dresses that I won’t sweat to death in or won’t cling or constrict. These last few weeks, I just things to feel comfy but look put-together with a big ole bump.
