It feels like it wasn’t that long ago that we made our first trip to Disney World with the kids.… probably because it wasn’t that long ago! Don’t worry. We’re not crazy Disney people (or are we?), but we did return to The Happiest Place on Earth for on our last spring break trip to Florida, less than six months after our first trip. Because of our multiple trips to the happiest place on ear that I documented on Insta obvs, I get lots of questions about Disney with kids and what to wear to Disney World. I actually struggled to figure out my Disney outfits for our first two trips, so I thought it would be worth a blog post that you can come back and reference.
Our first trip was such a whirlwind that I really didn’t capture much outfit content, and I swore I’d capture my outfits for our second trip, but managing three little kids at a theme park was pretty overwhelming so I didn’t get much in the way of outfit shots. With that said, I was also wearing Brooks for most of the time and we had a lot to pack in in just a few day, so it was hard to get any food pics of what I was wearing and it’s not like I had multiple outfit changes during our Disney visit. But I did gather a bunch of really cute options for what to wear to Disney World here that I thought I’d share if you’re planning a trip. Note: these outfits are really mom friendly because well folks, that’s the stage of life I’m in, and that means practicality reigns supreme. I’m also not one to wear Mickey Mouse ears, but in this case, I included some Disney gear, because when in Rome people, right? Never thought I’d be one of those people who wears Mickey Mouse t-shirts and ears to Disney World, but then I had kids, and here we are, so I guess never say never. It makes my kids happy and that’s worth it to me even if a part of my soul died. Here’s what to wear to Disney world. And if you’re thinking about taking the kids to Disney, first off, go. I don’t care how young they are, it’s an amazing trip and you’ll be so grateful for the memories (even if they don’t remember), and check out my Disney guide here.
