There are so many good sales going on for the last (unofficial) weekend of summer. It’s a lot, with almost every retailer discounting tons of current and summer items, so I’ve curated it all and I’m rounding up the best of Labor Day sales 2024. I always find the Labor Day weekend sales to be really good tbh, and this year’s are really, really good. They not only include a lot of summer items that are worth buying now for winter and spring vacations as well as next summer. But there are also so many early fall items on sale right now so you can stock up for cooler temps and start transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall.
You know my shopping strategy for sales if you’ve been following along here for awhile. I always stock up at the end of the season when the discounts are 50-70% off on items for the next year, from summer kids clothes to outdoor furniture to outdoor toys for the kiddos. I will invest in items for the kids for next summer (and for winter/spring break) during the Labor Day sales. I will just size up one to two sizes, depending on the brand. I will also take advantage of the sales to buy the items I’ve had my eye on all season that I didn’t scoop up. Sandals that will never go out of style as well as bathing suits and shorts are great to stock up on now. But I also love getting cute tops and dresses on sale during the Labor Day sales. I choose ones that feel timeless and that I know I’ll love forever. Then I’ll break them out on vacations or the next year and they’ll feel fresh and not easily identifiable by everyone. Plus, you know the midwesterner in me never likes to buy things full price. With that in mind, I’ve rounded up the best of Labor Day Sales 2024, from fashion to home to kids.
