So we’ve officially had our first snow of the season here on the East Coast, and personally, I couldn’t be more excited. I love snowy, cozy winter weekends (except when you have to go places lol). But in all seriousness, there’s something so magical about snow around the holidays and especially that first snow of the year. Now that James is running around everywhere, he’s going to need some shoes for trudging through the rain and snow, especially for our upcoming Christmas trip to Park City, where I’m hoping there will be lots of fresh powder to ski. James is always sprinting around, so I wanted to find toddler snow boots that aren’t really hard to walk in, which, it turns out, isn’t easy. I mean, I have trouble walking in my snow boots, ya know? And lots of the ones for littles are really stiff and hard to get on and off. I ended up ordering like seven different parents of toddler snow boots for James to try on to help me figure out the best toddler snow boots because there were so many options and I didn’t know what would stay on his feet, fit him and enable him to run around still. After lots of hilarious try-on sessions trying to get James into a bunch of different boots, I have finally narrowed it down to the most comfortable, most likely to stay on his feet, and easiest to walk in, and (almost as important), the cutest toddler snow boots.
Even if it’s not snowing by you, winter will be here before we know it and little kids shoes tend to sell out fast, so I recommend buying now while you can still get your child’s size. Here are my favorite toddler snow boots.

Do you have any not on this list you love for your walking baby or toddler? Tell me! I’m still debating if I want to just ship a pair to Park City to have when we get there so there’s one less thing to pack.
