I have a bit of a stroller problem (just check out my stroller comparison guide to see how many I’ve tried). I swore when I was pregnant with James that I would only ever buy one stroller, but over the years, we’ve amassed quite a collection and tried out an array of strollers. You quickly realize that you need different strollers for different things. We have found that we really need a stroller the most when we’re on the go and traveling and therefore, need one we can easily fold up when flying or driving different places or eating at restaurants. So I’ve been on the hunt for a good compact stroller that easily folds up pretty small and is light enough to carry while also holding our ginormous baby. Recently we tried a new compact stroller and I wanted to share my Colugo compact stroller review in case you’re in the market for a lightweight easy-to-travel with stroller as well.
One of the things I like best about the Colugo stroller is that it’s such a great travel stroller — it easily folds with one hand, fits almost anywhere, including overhead compartments and in small restaurant corners, so it’s so easy to take when traveling and on the go. Sometimes I’m traveling alone with the kids, and having a stroller I can fold and unfold with one hand and carry with another kid in tow is so clutch. The stroller is meant for infants and toddlers up to 55 pounds, so it’s great for Brooks but we can also have one of the bigs jump in if they’re getting tired.
Features I Love:
Compact and Lightweight: The Colugo Compact Stroller folds down to a small enough size that it can fit in an overhead compartment on some planes or in the trunk without taking up much space. It’s great for small restaurants because you can fold it and put it next to you at the table without taking up much space. It also comes with a backpack that you can put the stroller in and carry it around so it’s great for travel. It’s much easier to carry a baby and stroller if you have a backpack rather than a handle that goes over one shoulder.

Easy to Fold and Unfold with One Hand: One of my favorite parts of this stroller is that you can fold it one-handed and open it with one hand too. It’s so easy to collapse the stroller —you just press and lift and that’s it.
Easy to Maneuver: Some travel strollers are hard to navigate but I found this one really easy to push on uneven streets and sidewalks as well as paved roads and sidewalks. The front wheels can swivel or be locked into place for added stability.
Reclining Seat: I find that sometimes travel strollers aren’t that comfy for the kids to sleep in, but this one has an easy to adjust and recline seat.
Ample Storage: I had to include in my Colugo Compact Stroller review that this baby has a pretty good size storage basket under the seat, as well as an additional pocket on the back of the canopy. So you don’t have to worry about where you’ll put the diapers, wipes, snacks, and everyone’s things when you’re traveling around.

Machine Washable Top Layer: The top layer is machine washable so when your kids get it filthy on trips with the snacks and blowouts and spilled milk, you can just throw it in the wash. The stroller also comes with a carry bag, cup holder, and rain cover
Free 100 day Trial: Most stroller companies don’t do this and I think it’s genius. You can try the stroller free for 100 days, which is so nice because it’s hard to know if you are going to like a stroller until you really use it.
Durable: Our strollers take quite a beating and this one has held up well.

As you can tell from my Colugo Compact Stroller review, I’m a fan of this one. It’s a great travel stroller at a great price point — under $300. It’s a great option for traveling because it folds up so compactly and is so lightweight to carry. But my favorite part is that you can fold and unfold with one hand, which comes in handy when you have multiple kids (or one crazy baby) and a million things in your hand at all times. You can buy the Colugo stroller and all the accessories here.
