Okay, so first off, finding cute fall tops is actually not easy. Finding cute tops in general is hard, and I shop for a living. T-shirts is one thing and those come with their own challenges — the right fit, weight and material. But finding cute tops that can be worn with jeans for everyday, with skirts and trousers for the office, or dressed up for a date night or dinner with friends can be a challenge. There just aren’t that many cute tops in my opinion, finding versatile ones that can go from day to night and office to out is hard, and honestly, most tops that I like aren’t cheap. I’ve tried the cheaper tops and even more so than dresses, they just look and feel cheap and the fit never feels right. Occasionally, there’s a great Amazon or H&M one I love and Zara can have some good tops, but I’ve hit a point where I’d rather invest in one top I absolutely love than three that I don’t like that much. I just won’t wear them or feel that great in them, and as I get older, my number one rule for whether I keep something is whether it makes me feel really good.
