I have been slacking majorly on my monthly goals. But I’m determined to get back into it as I prepare to get a year older (March is my birthday month) and make sure I’m still on track for creating my dream life. So today I’m finally sharing my March 2025 monthly goals.
Book Spring Break Trip. I know I should have taken my own advice and done this months ago, but here we are. I always feel like I get indecisive about spring break and then freak out that we don’t have plans. I am thinking of taking the big kids to London. Is that crazy?
Finalize Kids’ Camp. I have almost all their camp set in stone but a couple weeks where I’m still not sure if we’ll be away or what we’ll do, so I’d like to have that set in stone this week.
Finalize Summer Travel Plans, I also want to get our travel plans for the summer squared away. We are going to spend 2-3 weeks somewhere in August — finalizing that decision but I’d also like to plan one trip earlier in the summer and then we’ll spend some time up at the lake house as well.
Workout 6x’s a week. I really want to get back into making intentional movement part of my routine. I want to commit to almost every day because I find that’s the best way to make it a habit rather than a chore.
Get up before kids to workout or finish work. I haven’t been doing my regular morning routine since Grace was born and I miss those early mornings working out and getting work done and some time to myself. It’s hard because Grace still isn’t sleeping through the night and I’m exhausted but I’m making this part of my March 2025 monthly goals so I prioiritize it.
Stop snacking. I’ve been forgoing real meals in the busyness of life for snacking and eating off the kids plates and it’s a big reason I think why I am still holding the last of the baby weight and not feeling great tbh. I am going to try to prioritize healthy meals and snacks and having a meal plan to avoid this. I’d like to be feeling my best by summer and so working out and eating right are going to be big March 2025 monthly goals.
Eat more protein. I’m going to aim for 100g but that seems like a lot, so we’ll see. But I do want to eat more protein now that I know the benefits.
Sign up for spring tennis. I’m not sure how we’re going to make this work, but I really want to play tennis once a week this spring and summer.
Square away spring childcare. The au pair that has been helping me in the mornings with Brooks is going back home, so I need to figure out a plan until he starts camp. Sigh. Why is childcare so much?
Get into a better routine with kids and work. My goal is to split my time better between work while the kids are at school and just the kids when they’re home but it’s hard. It’ll get easier as Grace gets bigger and we get her on a more set schedule.
Get Grace on a Set Schedule. This is a big goal of mine. I have been really bad about her schedule and it’s making it hard for me to plan our lives and sleep at night, so this is a top priority.
Hit IG milestone. I have a big IG milestone I’d like to hit this month. If you want to help, please give me a follow there!
Market my consulting business. I have been remiss in my consulting business as I adjust to life as a mom of four and balancing it with life as a content creator, but I’m trying to book 1-2 clients a month moving forward.
Enjoy life. It’s spring. We only get one shot at this. I really want to try to enjoy it more.
Sunday suppers. I asked you guys about traditions and one thing I want to start for our family is Sunday suppers. I think this is a great way for me to start learning to cook too. I can experiment with one dinner a week and have the time and help during the day to try it.
Finish Kids’ Bath and guest room window treatments: I don’t have a ton of home projects on my March 2025 monthly goals, but finishing some window treatments that have been languishing is top of list.
