I often get asked for my mom wardrobe essentials – the tried and true items that I can wear to chase around our son and dog and still feel presentable for a play date, playground run-in, or lunch meeting. Even though I love shopping, I work in fashion and live for pretty dresses, you might be surprised to know that I actually don’t have that many clothes in my closet. I try to invest in quality basics that I can wear over and over again, especially now that I’m a mom. Frankly, I just don’t have time to think about what I’m going to wear and I need pieces that are versatile, comfy and yet look put-together. These are the wardrobe staples that as a mom I rely on and wear almost every day.
February Wish List
Unfortunately, with the way retail works these days, it’s the time of year when you have to shop your closet because no one is selling sweaters, coats, boots anymore and while there are some great sales on winter gear, it’s never available in the size you need.
