I fell in love with this Tory Burch floral dress the second I saw it. I struggled with whether to buy it, because honestly, it was pricey for a work dress, but when it went on sale, I scooped it up and I’m so glad I did. It’s been the perfect dress to wear for work, a shower, a cocktail party — pretty much everything I have this fall. I love that it feels feminine but not too frilly, the colors are bright but not too bright for this former color averse girl, and I love the drop waist with ruffle trim, which works really well for me. I’m not going to lie, it’s a little roomy so I’d definitely size down, but that also means it’s great if you ate too much Halloween candy (guilty) or would be a great non-maternity maternity dress, which was something I was always looking for when I was pregs.
I love a pretty floral dress in the fall. I find it really hard though to find good fall and winter dresses that aren’t super fancy. Long sleeve dresses are actually really hard to find imo and good fall florals as well. So when I find a great long sleeve or fall dress, I tend to scoop it up even if it’s on the more expensive side or not on sale yet. I just find that they’re few and far between but always needed as the weather cools off. They also tend to get me through early spring when it’s still pretty cold outside. This Tory Burch floral dress is actually the perfect dress year-round, working from fall to winter to spring and such a versatile option for the office or a party or baby shower or whatever you have on your plate. It would also be really cute with a baby bump.
