We just got back from the most amazing week in Nantucket. Before this year, I hadn’t been to Nantucket since I was on a boat trip with friends in our 20s, wayyyy before kids. We stayed on the boat, so we didn’t get the full island experience and we were young and with a group of friends, so we spent a lot of time at Cisco’s. Needless to say, it was a completely different experience. I fell back in love with Nantucket when I was there back in May for a brand/influencer trip and jumped at the chance to bring our whole family back for the Fourth of July. We stayed at The Nantucket again and it was just as amazing with our whole family of six as when I was there with Grace. They have a variety of accommodations including a great suite that fit us so well (it was basically an apartment) and the food and service are amazing. The weather was a bit cooler than I had initially thought it’d be – in the lower 70s for most of our stay but when the sun was out, it felt warmer. But layers were definitely my approach for chillier mornings and evenings. We had some drizzle and grey days on The Grey Lady as well, which I had expected and it was mostly short lived. We were there for the fourth and all the festivities involved in that so I went with mostly red white and blue (because why not, right?). Also I own quite a bit of red white and blue so felt like the right time to wear it. The vibe is low key but I also dressed up some nights because it’s fun to do so on vacation and well, I am who I am, ya know? Here’s what I wore for our summer vacation on Nantucket.
