We followed a dreamy week in Italy with the ultimate dichotomy — a week in Orlando hitting up theme parks with our kiddos. It was definitely a big contrast and a lot to pack in back to back but we had the best time. I know there are mixed opinions here, but I love taking my kids to Disney World and Universal Studios. They’re at the age where the experience is just so magical for them and for us to watch. They’re also too little to go on the crazy scary rollercoasters (I am not a rollercoaster fan) and also at the age where they constantly need to be entertained so I’m not sitting on the beach reading a book anyway. In any event, we spent five days in Florida doing a mix of Disney/Universal and hanging out at the pool and enjoying time in the sun. I was excited to dress for vacation, as you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore on spring break in Florida 2024.
I packed a mix of sundresses (my go-to for dinners on warm-weather vacations) and shorts and tank tops for the theme parks. Daytime was mostly bathing suits and coverups when we weren’t riding all the rides. I love vacation outfits because they’re so easy and relaxed and I tried to stick with that vibe. I kept everything breezy and comfortable, all flats (no heels) and just easy to throw on and go. I also managed to pack it all into one carry-on so I’ll have to do a Reel showing how I pack but I do have a whole post with packing hacks that includes many of the tricks I use. Now, I’m slowly trying to adjust back to reality while I keep praying warmer weather arrives soon. Here’s what I wore on spring break in Florida 2024.
