What I Wore the First Week of April 2022

As I hit publish on this post, I’m debating whether I’ll be going into labor before the end of the day. I have been planning ahead, so I shot a little extra pregnancy outfit inspiration content for you to fill out my What I Wore This Week posts in case the baby came before my due date. So if the baby is already here, I apologize for confusion. I just wanted to serve up as much maternity style inspo as I could, because I know I’m always in search of it when I’m pregnant and the clock is ticking. So I hope you’ll forgive me and understand also why these are not my best photos. Photographing oneself at 9.5 months pregnant is not fun. It’s funny because for a long time, I felt like I wasn’t that big and then in the last few weeks, it’s like every day my belly gets larger and larger. People say it’s a boy thing, and I guess I kind of remember that with James, but I also just think it’s a 9 months pregnant thing. Like the cute bump only exists for about a month or two and then you quickly slide into can’t fit through doorways and back ache territory. I have tried to stay active up until the end of my pregnancy, but it’s been hard. I’ve really been feeling super pregnant during the final weeks and I run out of energy fast towards the end of the day. I also experience sore feet in a way I don’t remember with my other two pregnancies, but then again, I wasn’t chasing after two kids then. In any event, I’m sharing what I wore the first week of April 2022 but as I mentioned, I shot these in advance so it’s likely by the time this goes live, the baby is here and I’m no longer pregs so follow along on my Instagram if you want real time updates.

This week was a mix of some of my final pregnancy outfits — some new spring dresses and a sweater from my favorite maternity brand, Frances Hart, a going out top I found to accommodate the bump, a jacket I love even at almost 10 months pregs. So for my last pregnancy style roundup (I think), here’s what I wore the first week of April 2022.
