What I Wore This Week (No. 129) – Closetful of Clothes

Another week, another round up of outfits, and here I am already sharing what I wore the third week of October 2022. It means that Halloween is almost here, which is crazy! Does it not feel like we were just swimming at the pool? Maybe it feels weird to me because I feel like we lost a month of our lives when we were living in a rental and commuting the kids to school amid a super fast move. It just moved so fast and we were just constantly scrambling that it feels like we lost that last week of summer and those first few weeks of September. But now it’s starting to feel like we’re getting settled and figuring out our new normal – though I’m still adjusting to the commute. I actually find the hardest part is getting dressed and ready and out the door along with everyone else, so I’m really feeling the one and done dressing of throwing on a dress and boots, as you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore the third week of October 2022.

I am realizing we do not have our Halloween costumes settled and could use some candy and decorations, so that is on the agenda this weekend. That and about a million birthday parties. I think I’m in the minority but I actually don’t mind having a weekend full of birthday parties. It’s a built-in activity, the kids have fun, and it’s nice to have a chance to chat with other adults (although I’ll probably have a sibling or two in tow to watch). They take care of entertainment and food for a few hours in exchange for a gift? Not a bad tradeoff IMO, but maybe just me? Well, here’s to the weekend! Hope you guys have more exciting plans.
