Even though March is already coming in like a lion in terms of being packed with work and activities and all the things, I felt like this week was a bit of a reprieve from the madness (or maybe I’m getting used to it and it’s our new homeostasis?). Either way, I felt much less like a chicken with her head cutoff. I think we’re starting to find a rhythm and I’m starting to figure out this whole commute and morning thing. As I’ve mentioned before, waking up before my kids to get in some exercise, emails and make coffee has been life-changing. I really feel it when I don’t do it. Unfortunately, I hate getting up when it’s dark and cold, so it’s not happening every day as it should. But on days when I do it, I am dressed cuter as well because I typically get some time to shower and get ready for the day. Judging from what I wore the first week of March 2023, you can probably see the day I didn’t get up early to workout and get ready. But thanks to a lot of commuting and meetings, I have a lot of workwear inspo for you this week.
We are looking forward to a low-key family weekend with some fun plans for Mom and Dad too, which is really the best type of weekend, right? We’re a week away from my birthday and last minute I’ve decided I want to go skiing, so my poor husband is doing a bit of a scramble. We’ll see how this goes, but I kind of feel like I need to hit the slopes one last time during this epic ski season the west is having. Ok, enough daydreaming of vacations and time to get down to work so I can enjoy the weekends with the kiddos. Will try to share more day to day and highlights on social as requested.
