Happy Friday fam. I am excited to share what I wore the third week of May 2023, because it’s basically all my favorite spring dresses. When spring comes, I really lean in hard to dresses. It just makes for easy dressing and you always look put-together. It’s also great for me work-wise because I can throw on and go in the mornings which are crazy on days I am commuting to the office or event, and I am all set for the office, an event, a presentation, or impromptu press appearance. One never knows that the day brings anymore. I also feel like jeans feels too casual sometimes for work even though I’ll wear them and plenty of my colleagues do. But dresses just make me feel more put-together and in charge. Plus, I don’t have to worry about what top to wear, so it’s easier I guess? And considering I have two seconds to get dressed these days, throwing on a dress just feels easier. So that’s what I did this week. The weather is getting so nice and it makes me excited to be out and about and dressed too, especially after living in parkas and leggings all winter.
We’re heading into a busy weekend of sports, activities and birthday parties, so really the usual I guess (is this my life now?), but I’m also hoping to squeeze in some time for house projects (never-ending and maybe a date night if we’re lucky) and we have grandparents in town. Oh, and there’s a big town fair, so low-key this weekend won’t be. Here’s what I wore the third week of May 2023.
