What I Wore This Week (No. 171)

We’re coming in hot on the end of September and I can’t believe it’s still as warm as it is. Well, actually I can believe it. I guess it’s always like this, but I’m really ready for more fall-like temps to kick in. I do love the cool morning and evenings and sunny days but it makes dressing for the day tricky. In my roundup of what I wore the last week of September 2023, you’ll see my outfits are somewhat all over the place for that reason. With that said, I’m terribly behind on outfit posts here, so these are actually what I wore two weeks ago. It takes awhile to put together these posts, so it’s really hard to do them the week I actually wear them. Does that bother you tons? I can try to get better about making them the week of or just a week behind, but these past couple months have been such a whirlwind, I’ve found myself seriously behind and I apologize. I also re-wear clothes so some of these outfits I brought back from previous weeks, but when an outfit works, go with it is my philosophy.

Last week we celebrated James’ birthday, Andrew traveled a ton for work so I was solo parenting, and went full steam ahead on all the fall activities so it was quite a packed schedule. I’m looking forward to taking it a bit easier this weekend with just the usual smattering of activities and a few parties for mom and dad. We haven’t been out in awhile – it’s just been so crazy – so I’m excited to have a sitter and get out and socialize with adults (without kids distracting me). Previewed the dress I’m going to wear – the feathered number. Fun, right? What are your plans for the weekend? Anyone going to try to squeeze in a trip to the pumpking patch? Debating how crowded it will be but my kids always love doing it and we haven’t gotten a chance to do it yet so most of our pumpkin acquisitions have been from the grocery store lol.
