I don’t know about you guys, but I’m still recovering from Halloween. Having Halloween on a Tuesday is rough for parents. Actually, it would have been rough if I was in my 20s and still kid-free because I probably would have gone out and had to get up for work the next day. Remember those days? Seems like forever ago and yet, not? Anyway, I will spare you with the reminiscing about the glory days. Bottom line is that I’m exhausted and ready for the weekend. We have sports and birthday parties and not a ton else planned, so should be a fun weekend but pretty routine, which I’m looking forward to. But before I try to get some last bits of work done, wanted to share what I wore the first week of November 2023.
I worked from home all week except for a really chic event for MaxMara at The Glass House in New Canaan, CT, which is phenomenal if you haven’t been (I hadn’t). And then we got dressed up for a gala (thank you to everyone who helped me pick out what to wear on IG). I can’t believe how busy October was and am hoping to get a bit of a reprieve leading up to Thanksgiving because then it’s holiday in full swing from there. I am thankful though that the weather has stayed pretty warm (for November) — I”ll take the beautiful fall days as long as we can, especially since we were deluged with rain so much this fall. So this week was a mix of jeans and sweaters and jackets, a chic pants suit (I included some dupes) and a fancy dress, which feels like a good mix of outfit inspo.
Here’s what I wore the first week of November 2023.
