What I Wore This Week (No. 178)

Guys, it’s the final weekend before Thanksgiving. How did we get here? No, really. How? I know a lot of you are feeling this way too. But this fall has flown by and I cannot believe how fast the holidays are coming at us. It’s insane! I am actually feeling super prepared this year for the holidays, so I’m not overwhelmed by their arrival as I have been in other years. I have most of my gifts done, my holiday cards have already arrived, and I have all the kids holiday outfits. I’m not trying to brag (but kind of am), but this year, I decided not to procrastinate on things. I found a holiday card company I loved on IG and just ordered rather than adding it to my to-do list. I just made do with the photos we had rather than scheduling a family photo shoot so it’s just the kids this year, but things are super busy and I need to prioritize my battles, ya know? I ordered the kids their holiday outfits as soon as I saw ones I loved. And I have been buying gifts throughout the year when they come on sale, so I don’t have to worry about scrambling to buy everything at once during the holidays, which I highly recommend. It’s so nice to be pretty much done with our holiday shopping in November. But I’m still runnign around like a chicken with her head cut off, trying to balance work/building a business, the kids, and life. As you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore the third week of November 2023, everything had to be easy to throw on and go.

This weekend we’re keeping things pretty low-key. Andrew is coming off a marathon month of traveling so of course, I’ve a list of home projects for him to work on as well as kids duties to handle while I catch up on life and I’ve made plans for us both nights, so really he’s going to love me. And I guess it’s not such a low-key weekend after all. But alas, when is it when you have kids, right? But before we kick it off, here’s what I wore the third week of November 2023.
