New year, same me. Lol. Are you sick of me and my outfits yet? Getting back from Park City and trying to get our lives back in order has been a lot. Total champagne problems I know, and I’m not complaining here, but this week has been a total slog and I’m ready for the weekend and a long weekend at that. I forced myself to get dressed though. I wanted to really show up this week and getting dressed was part of that — for me, it felt like the first week of the new year since we were away last and I wanted to dive head first into my goals. Life and exhaustion put me a bit behind unfortunately, so I’m feeling a little bummed that I didn’t rocket launch into the new year with the momentum I had hoped, but I’m trying not to beat myself up. Launching a business and raising a family and doing all of the things to run it all is a lot. We’re trying to figure out summer and next year’s plans, and get it finalized even though it’s the dead of winter, and it all feels like a lot. But I got dressed and to prove it, I’ve rounded up what I wore the second week of January 2024.
My outfits are a mix of casual basics that I can throw on and look put-together when I feel anything but and some stepped-up looks because frankly, I needed the motivation and had some new items that arrived while we were away that I wanted to share. Now it’s off to ski and see some old friends for MLK weekend. But first, here’s what I wore the second week of January 2024.
