Here we are at the end of winter (I think? I hope! It has to end, right?). Last week, it snowed. It rained. It was cold. And then it was warm for a day, and then it was cold again. But we made it through and here we are on the other side, another week of cold/warm/rain/who knows. I probably jinxed us by saying that spring is coming, because the week started like winter, felt more spring like and I’m sure it’ll go back to winter like it did last week. So basically it makes getting dressed super confusing. And I had to get dressed unfortunately because my schedule was just jam-packed, so I tried to navigate the weather and my to-dos as best as I could as you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore the first week of March 2025.
Getting dressed these days is a real challenge. I just do not feel motivated when it’s this cold and I don’t want to leave my house. I know spring is basically here and I should get wear out of my sweaters and boots and put on real pants so I’m motivated to eat well so I can fit into my spring clothes. But also, I just want to sit on the couch and eat comfort food and never leave. And then there’s the eternal early spring struggle (at least here on the northeast) of what to wear because it’s almost kind of spring but it still feels like winter or one day it’s winter and the next is spring and you’re over boots and coats but bare ankles is a real risk. You guys know the dilemma so hopefully my outfits from this week help give you some inspo for transitional dressing and spring break will be here before we know it! Here’s what I wore the first week of March 2025.
