It officially started to feel like fall this week. I mean it wasn’t really cold this week and the leaves haven’t really started changing, well, in NYC at least (although, in fairness, they don’t ever really change so much in the city — they just fall to the ground). But it is slightly cooler and damper. I thought I’d be happier, since I always complain that it stays hot way too long and then I don’t get to wear my cute fall clothes, but I guess I am still holding onto summer. Hence, why some of my outfits from my roundup of what I wore the last week of September 2018 still scream summer. It could also be because the idea of switching my wardrobe over is daunting, and my closet has gotten to a point where I’ve realized I need to build more closet space in our room because it’s busting at the seams. But because that sounds like a whole lot of work, I’ve opted to just pile up shoes, jeans, and god knows what else on our bookshelf, which makes getting dressed not the easiest. And the clutter may drive this neat freak insane. So if anyone knows a good carpenter who wants to build me extra closets, send them my way. I’m desperate.
But back to the whole point of this post — my outfits from this week. It was a busy week at the office, and I feel like everyone at work has started to dress for fall, so I tried to nod towards fall but when it’s 80 degrees, I’m not wearing a sweater or jacket, ya know? I tried to incorporate some of my favorite fall (and end of summer, tear) pieces into my outfits this week while I can still wear them. Now it’s off to a fun weekend in the city enjoying the fall weather with our little man. But first, here’s what I wore the last week of September 2018.
