The week after a long holiday weekend is always hard, but this week was particularly crazy. I barely had time for lunch on most days. But the upside is that it really flew by, which I always love. It makes me feel like I’m really living life and getting stuff done. But I am pretty stressed about all the work on my plate rn, not to mention a lot to prep on the home front, but I’m trying to just go one day at a time. So I haven’t had tons of time to get dressed in the morning — or brain space quite frankly. Hence, I’ve been leaning into dresses I can just throw on and go in as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the second week of July 2019.
We’re heading out of town for a family vacation in less two weeks to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday, so I feel like there’s light at the end of the tunnel, even though there’s so much I need to get done that I’m slightly stressed about taking a few days during the work week. Especially with maternity leave on the horizon. But it’ll be good to relax and recharge. I really need it to be frank. With that said, it’ll be a lot of going going going with James and family so I’m also feeling a little like I need a long nap before, or just a day off to get it all done. Until then I’m just trying to beat the head and power through some big things at work and find a few things that I can still fit in that will get me through my work days.
Here’s what I wore the second week of July 2019.
