So I have been totally delinquent in posting my weekly outfits since having Charlotte. It’s not because I’ve been living in spit-up and sweats, although some days, like today, I have. But I haven’t had time or anyone to take pics. We’ve been running around like crazy, commuting James back and forth to school, picking out cabinets, fixtures, tiles, meeting with designers, electricians, plumbers etc. for this renovation, and doing all the back to school and fall stuff in between. But I promise I’m going to get better about sharing my outfits. They’ll definitely be a little different these next couple months while I’m on maternity leave and mom-ing hard, but I think it’ll be fun to show my more casual, mom style. I didn’t get dressed or document my outfits that much this week, but wanted to share the ones I did because they’re sort of my solution to dressing for this crazy summer/fall/can’t make up its mind weather we’ve been having.
Here’s what I wore this week.
Monday
The week started off chilly, so I really embraced it by making one of my go-to fall dresses that also happens to be nursing-friendly work for fall with a sweater and booties. I wish I had a cute hat to complete the look, but you get the idea.
Tuesday
I bought this dress when I was pregnant in a couple sizes up. I really love it, but it’s not super nursing-friendly. I wanted to get some more wears in though so I wore it for a short jaunt to the doc with Charlotte.
Wednesday
I whipped out this oldie but goodie Zara find from last year and it’s been perfect for when I want to feel put-together. I wore it for drop off and a kid’s birthday party, and it was easy to breastfeed on the go with its buttons and it’s got a forgiving silhouette but it’s a pretty pattern and has a nice ruffle sleeve detail that I’m obsessed with.
Dress (old Zara but similar here and here and here); Sandals
Thursday
Yep, same dress from Monday. I decided to whip it back out because it was 80 degrees out and I only have so many sundresses that’ll work in fall, this being one of them. I styled this more summery because it was hot af but the tan sandals keep it from screaming summer.
