I don’t know about the rest of you, but I feel like with school and activities and work and life returning to some semblance of its pre-Covid self, I have never been so busy. I feel like I can’t stay on top of it all tbh. I have been forcing myself to wake up earlier every day to get myself together before the kids are up and to not feel like mornings are total chaos, but they often are just the same. It’s hard to go from never having anywhere to go or dress for to suddenly having a million things to coordinate and having to make public appearances on the daily. A lot of my outfit pics this week had to be taken on the run to school or soccer or hockey practice or en route to the train to the city. But I feel I deserve a round of applause because I managed to get out of my workout clothes and get dressed every day this week, so you’ll get lots of fall outfit inspo in my round up of what I wore the second week of October 2021.
I am really leaning into fall colors and coziness this year. I usually try to keep the summer love going as long as possible, but this year, I’m all about a pretty fall dress and cozy cardigan. I never was a big jeans person, but I am officially a convert. Jeans and a cute top are the perfect answer to days I’m working from home and running the kids around. A nice puff sleeve, print or ruffle detail makes a top stand out on back to back Zoom calls, and I’ve officially found the comfiest jeans that are no sweat pant but are comfy enough for working from home while looking put together enough for school and activities runs. Here’s what I wore the second week of October 2021.
