Somehow Charlotte is going to be four at the end of the summer. It’s crazy to see how she’s developing from a toddler into a preschooler/little girl. She’s growing so fast and learning more and more by the day, but one thing that hasn’t changed since she was old enough to walk — her love of princesses and mermaids and dresses and dolls. Charlotte is truly a girly girl through and through, and while I’m sure some of it comes from me, I have to say that we didn’t start with a playroom full of dolls and pink. She started out with her brother’s old toys and favorite movies like Cars, but her love of pink and princesses runs deep and seems almost innate. When she was born, we were going to call her Charlie but her features were so feminine, we ended up calling her by her full name, Charlotte, and it’s stayed that way ever since. As her birthday creeps up and those of her classmates, I have been researching the best gifts for 4 year old girls.
I often quiz my friends with daughters who are just a bit older than Charlotte to find out what their kids actually played with and loved. I also do quite a bit of research on the Google and reading of reviews when shopping for toys for the kids. And of course, I do a little of our own market research. Since Charlotte is nearly four, the things she loves now, I can recommend for other four year old girls. As I start counting down to Charlotte’s birthday and thinking about what to get her, I thought I’d share all the best gifts for 4 year old girls that I found.
