While we wait to tackle larger projects on the house, I’m trying to get some of the smaller home projects done. We are still playing revolving door with our bedroom set up as we figure out who sleeps where, who we bunk up, etc., so I was going to hold off on even looking at toddler girl bedroom ideas for Charlotte, but I recently changed my mind. I only have as short window where I can dictate what the kids’ rooms look like and make them young and cute and fun, and so I want to lean into that. Before I know it they’ll be tweens/teens who want to hang posters and hate certain colors and anything that makes them feel like a “baby” or so I think that’s how it will go. So I’m going to lean into the cute prints for window treatments and wallpaper and bedding and enjoy myself while I can. Plus, it’s the middle of winter and I need a project. Currently Charlotte sleeps with James most nights and so we have Brooks sleeping in her room in her old crib, but she still wants her room to be her room and I’m not sure bunking up Char and James makes sense these days – they keep each other up way too late. So I’m going to make an adorable room for her, because also that’s part of the fun of having a daughter for me, so I’ve been going deep down the rabbit hole of toddler girl bedroom ideas.
I love feminine details and wallpaper so I may go all in on that. I also love the idea of doing sweet pastel blues with pink accents. It also may be a smarter play because we may move Charlotte to a different bedroom and just keep her in hers in which case I’ll be happy I went with something less girly. Plus, I really did love Charlotte’s nursery in our last home, and we did blues with pink that could have gone either way. Take a look at the toddler girl bedroom ideas I’ve gathered and let me know what you think. This is going to be so much fun!
