We did a Peter Rabbit-themed birthday party for Brooks’ first birthday last year. It was adorable and also would make for the perfect kids Easter table. While I was searching for Peter Rabbit and bunny-themed decor for his birthday party, I stumbled across so many cute Easter decorations, so I wanted to share kids Easter table ideas. Brooks’ birthday is the end of March so it makes sense that there is so much Easter decor, and came in handy for our birthday party decorating. For us, Easter is so much about the kids. It’s like a mini spring version of Christmas in my mind. There’s a magical being (in this case the Easter Bunny) who delivers fun surprises while the kids are asleep and there are fun traditions and activities like Easter Egg hunts and decorating. And of course they have to dress up in whatever coordinating outfits mom forces them to wear and take pictures, so really it’s like Christmas’ spring cousin.
Since it has become such a fun holiday for the kids, I like to make even my favorite part, Easter brunch, super kid-friendly and fun. In the morning, I’ll make a really cute Easter brunch complete with bunny-shaped pancakes and waffles and this amazing french toast casserole — plus, muffins and scones and juice. And I like to set a cute kids Easter table, with fun plates and decorations that makes it feel like a party so the kids will actually sit down and eat something other than jelly beans after finding their baskets. We also head to my in-laws typically for a family Easter celebration, and there is always a kids Easter table there, so I may bring the leftover plates and decorations from Brooks’ party last year that we still have or use for our own Easter breakfast before.
If you’re thinking of making a cute kids Easter table too, here are my favorite finds.
