What I Wore For Our Christmas Vacation in Park City 2025
It’s crazy but somehow we are back from two magical weeks in Park City, Utah and it’s a new year. It’s 2025. How did that happen?! Every year, we spend the Christmas and New Years holidays in Park City. It’s…
What I Wore This Week (No. 224)
Happy New Year! I realize I’ve already said this and it’s already a couple weeks into the new year, but I haven’t published a regular version of this series in 2025 yet, so Happy New year! I don’t really do…
Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Her
It may be a cheesy Hallmark holiday, but I will take any excuse to enjoy a fun celebration in the middle of winter. It’s a weird holiday to shop for, but I find little excuses to celebrate your love (and to shower your other half with flowers, jewelry or something fun they’ve been eyeing or didn’t know they always wanted) can do a lot for your relationship, so I’m all about embracing Valentine’s Day. What to Wear to Work When It’s Freezing Outside
Getting dressed for work every morning can be hard enough. But I find it especially challenging when it’s too cold to breathe and you have to deal with a dangerously cold commute and an office fluctuating between under and over heated but never quite right (or is that just my office?). You want/have to still look profesh and polished but you also have to deal with things like shoes that can navigate snow and ice (or wearing the dreaded commuter shoes and hoping no looks down at your feet on your way in), tights and socks, bulky sweaters and scarves, layers, etc. etc. I’ve found that getting out of bed when it’s cold and dark is hard enough without having to worry about looking cute, so I’ve decided to pick out some go-to outfit combos to get me through the rest of winter with more snooze time and less outfit picking-out time.
