I always struggle to come up with the perfect teacher gifts for the holidays or end of year. Teachers do so much for our children and it’s so hard to figure out the best way to thank them. Really, there’s no way to thank them enough for all they do, but I do my best to try to show our appreciation and make them feel special. Luckily, my kids’ classes often go in on a group gift that includes something nicer — gift card to favorite restaurants or stores or spa treatments etc. But I still like to do a little something extra on top of that just to say an extra thank you. My kids are a handful. I love them, but they have tons of energy and love to challenge authority, so their teachers really deserve an extra little something from them lol. I have a roundup of my favorite teacher gifts (so check out if you’re in need of more ideas), but I was looking for something sweet to do at the end of the year and wanted to share the perfect personalized teacher gift that couldn’t be easier to put together and it’s super cost-effective for anyone with lots of teachers, like we have.
I found these adorable personalized baskets on Etsy that Emily of Born on the Fifth shared on her Instagram. The seller couldn’t be nicer and often has sales on them, so I ordered a bunch. I personalized each basket with the teacher’s name and they turned out so beautiful. You can choose the color and it’s just such a sweet personalized teacher gift that’s great for summer night’s out or to use as decor. I then went to Trader Joe’s (their flowers are affordable but they also actually last forever which I love) and bought a bunch of small flower plants to fit inside. I bought them the day before we gave the gifts to ensure they’d last the longest. Then I bought these clear plastic bags on Amazon and stuck the flowers and baskets inside, tied them with gorgeous ribbon that matched the monograms, and added these cute little tags. Such an easy personalized teacher gift that Charlotte’s teachers loved and I’ve already had several people ask me where I got them!
