It’s feeling like spring… well, some days at least. And I’m feeling like a beached whale. So there’s that. I’m not sure I’m ready to not be pregnant anymore. I know it sounds crazy to a lot of people and many people don’t enjoy pregnancy, especially this late in the game, but in many ways, I love being pregnant and I don’t know if this will be my last time, so it feels bittersweet. It’s such a special experience even if this one has been fraught with anxiety and this last month, the discomfort of being about to pop. I mean, there is absolutely nowhere else for baby to grow. Getting motivated to do anything, including getting dress, is hard these days. Yet, there’s so much I want to still squeeze in before the baby arrives, so I’m ignoring the uncomfortableness and pressing on, even get dressed despite my better judgement. But you’ll see in this roundup of what I wore the third week of March 2022, I kept it pretty casual this week other than for a work event and lunch I had at the start of it.
Comfy sweaters and maternity jeans or leggings have been my MO recently. It’s not quite warm enough for pretty spring dresses without coats and layers, and I am mostly working from home while waiting for baby, so other than drop off/pick up, I haven’t had much of a reason to get dressed up. I’ll keep you guys posted, but eeek, I am not ready and yet so ready. Here’s what I wore the third week of March 2022.
