We moved, I have been transitioning back to work, Brooks is going through the four month sleep regression (ahh help!), we’re house hunting in probably the craziest housing market in the history of this country (don’t fact check me on that), and we’ve experienced a serious heat wave around here. Did I mention today is Andrew’s birthday (and of course I’ve had no time to plan anything like I had hoped to or even get the poor guy a gift), and I have Charlotte and James’ birthdays coming down the pipeline? So yes, in a nutshell, I’m a stress ball, we’re a total and complete mess, and my wardrobe is somewhat reflective of that. And yet, we persevere. So here I am getting dressed and doing it for the gram and to hopefully, help give you some outfit ideas heading into the end of summer. But go easy on me. We moved most of our items into storage in hopes we’d move into our new house soonish, which means I’ve been forced to work with a capsule wardrobe of sorts. I’m not going to lie, I am sort of liking having fewer options, from dresses to shoes. I am also of course loving the excuse to buy something new every time I don’t have what I need. Hehe. But as you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore the last week of July 2022, I’ve rediscovered some oldies but goodies from seasons past during my packing that I’ve decided to whip back out during this period of transition. And then I’m just grasping at straws too.
Who knows what I will find to wear next week, but before then, I have an important person’s birthday to celebrate and he deserves a fun celebration. We’re off to spend the day having some fun sans kiddos. But first, here’s what I wore the last week of July 2022.
