Well, we’re officially in it. Back to school, work is getting busy busy, so much to do on here, and all the fall activities and events. We are currently in a rental for two more weeks until we move into our new home while trying to navigate new schools and a new town and new commutes. It’s a lot to say the least. I am in over my head and then some and barely having time to breathe. Did I mention everyone got sick too?! Yeah, fun times. I tried to figure out a system and get everything in order and organized, but I gave up this week and decided a better approach would be to just accept that until we are moved in, it’s going to be chaos. Schedules will be off, we won’t know where half our stuff is as we live out of suitcases, takeout will be eaten for most meals, and baths may not happen some nights, and that’s okay. It’s not ideal, but life doesn’t always go according to plan and we’re playing the long game, investing in a new home that our family can grow in and in the grand scheme of things, two weeks isn’t that much time. Plus, kids are resilient right? Actually, the kids are handing things much better than me. It was fashion week and I’m back to work, so I did need to get dressed this week. So after a great Labor Day at the beach, it was back to trying to find clothes in the piles of suitcases and look presentable and figure out how not to miss my new train. Lucky for you, that means I have some early fall outfits to share in my round up of what I wore the first week of September 2022.
The best part of this week’s outfits is that a bunch of these pieces are currently on sale. I mean, I keep telling you that everything goes on sale and it truly does. You’ll see one of my outfits was a bit more fashion-forward than usual. I’m not typically one for bra tops and crop tops, but #fashionweek. But I did wear the same skirt last week for the first day of school and work in a less risque way if you will, and the skirt is currently on sale and a great versatile piece. Gearing up for a weekend of fashion shows and a Harry Styles concert and then cuddling my kids and trying to make the most of our time in this chaos. In fact, may skip some of my fashion week plans to help everyone transition. There’s just so much going on right now, I feel like I need to pare down and just manage. So apologies too if I’m a bit slow on the blog. Here’s what I wore the first week of September 2022.
