Happy Friday! I feel like I always say it was a crazy week but with getting back from vacation, there was a lot to catch up on and get done. I had a really big week work-wise and then had some big decisions for the house to make as well. We’re realizing if we don’t order soon, we will not have anywhere to sit for months, and we finally have all the swatches and plans etc. to make at least a few decisions. I’m excited by the things we ordered and feel like we accomplished quite a bit. Next up is setting up desks/work spaces for us both, which does feel pretty important but one step at a time, right? But needless to say, I’m looking forward to a weekend with the kiddos and getting in a little break from work. I am hoping to take them to a pumpkin patch this weekend actually while we’re having some painting work done. With paint drying and work being done in the house, we may end up spending a lot of time outside the house, so send me any favorite fall activities in the CT area. Before we kick off the weekend with our Friday pizza and movie night, I have my roundup of what I wore the second week of October 2022.
As you’ll see, I went for a mix of dresses for work and a couple more casual looks for working from home and drop off/pick up and errand runs. I am leaning into more autumnal colors and textures and kind of loving it. I usually go more neutral in the fall and winter months, but I’m having fun playing around with some browns and jewel tones this year too. I feel like I’m having a style evolution but I’m not quite sure where it’s headed, but it’s kind of fun to experiment, especially now that my life is such a mix of work, home and everything in between. Stay tuned to see where my fashion whims takes me next week.
