Hi friends, and happy Friday. Thank god, right? I already feel exhausted from the holidays and they technically haven’t even begun. How are we going to survive fam?! I’ll try to wait to panic until next week, so in the meantime, I’ll be furiously trying to clean my house and finish work before the weekend begins. We have grandparents coming in town this weekend so we’re going to do an early Thanksgiving celebration (but seriously, can you believe we’re in the final countdown to Thanksgiving? How is it almost Christmastime?!) and have a busy weekend of showing them all the things around our new town. It should be fun, but I don’t think we’ll have much down time, so I’m trying to squeeze in the final bits of work and cleaning and prepping before we get ready for their arrival. So, all this to say that I’m coming at you fast with what I wore the third week of November 2022, and then wrapping up all those final to-dos before the weekend (wish me luck!).
This week was a lot on the work front, so I relied heavily on dresses and boots or jeans and cute tops that could take me through long days at the office or on Zoom, a hundred work events, and all the drop off and pick up and school and kids stuff in between. I am all for the Y2K dressing that’s happening and do want to be channeling Gwyneth circa the ’90s, but I’m also all about one and done dressing these days, and it’s typically easiest with a dress and boots or jeans and a statement top or sweater for me. The benefits are that this type of outfit formula usually takes me quite easily from work to school events to even a dinner out or drinks. I will be trendier in the new year, I promise.
Here’s what I wore the third week of November 2022.
