what I wore the second week of May 2018

Well, this week was a crap show. I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately, but honestly, things are crazy at work and with life and I’m still figuring out the working mom juggle, and so yeah, this week was a crap show. Lot’s of exciting stuff happened at work, but I came down with whatever has been going around and was completely out of commission for one day, and then spent the rest of the week catching up due to that one sick day. The weather has been terrible, which hasn’t helped my sickness, mood, or motivation levels. I know we’ve all said it a million times, but I am just so ready for spring already. Or at least something a little warmer than a high of 40 degrees. I’ve honestly given up and just started dressing for spring and regretting my decision while freezing my ass off on my way to work. But I can’t with the tights and boots anymore peeps, I just can’t, as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the second week of May 2018.

Do you all feel the same way? Or have you just succumbed to the fact that spring may never come. Honestly, I probably waver between the two if I’m being honest. Really depends on the day and my mood. So I started the week practically, with a turtleneck and blazer and boots. And then I just decided F it, and went for the bare legs and spring dresses (hence, why I probably got sick). But these dresses were dying to get out and see the light of day. I’ve wanted to wear them since I bought them. I should have layered them with a turtleneck and tights or jacket, but I just love them so much, I didn’t want to cover them. And I was rushed in the mornings and of course, it was a terrible decision that I only fully realized while walking from the subway to the office and freezing my tootsies off.

But now the weekend is here, and I’m looking forward to a fun one. Here’s what I wore the second week of May 2018.
